Mary’s singing accomplishments have been somewhat eclectic. She began singing at

university in the Queen’s College chapel choir. Following this her talents were divided

between a chamber choir and amateur dramatics, singing, acting, accompanying, musical director and general factotum.

Family commitments have made inroads into the amount of time spent singing, but Mary  has in the intervening years sung and accompanied a variety of choirs and groups ranging from madrigal groups, a school choir, and chamber choirs to full-blown choral societies -

both for pleasure and for money!

She has been heard entertaining diners at a hotel, singing solos for the Ipswich Choral

Society and Suffolk Opera and busking at a London underground station.

Mary has no ambitions whatsoever and hopes to continue to sing and play for her own

and other people’s pleasure.
